Ensemble de Sade seeks scores which:

~ Embrace conservatism to an uncomfortable level.

~ Emphasize and strengthen the natural hierarchical relationships within a concert setting. (e.g. performer/audience, soloist/ensemble)

~ Strictly enforce concert etiquette practices.

~ Bring about the physical or emotional suffering necessary for the true appreciation of music.

~ Belittle and/or alienate an inferior musical community.

~ Exploit the deepest insecurities of the performers, the audience members, or the composer.
